CUPERTINO CA, APRIL 28 1995-Microsoft, Apple and Insignia Solutions agree to meld their technologies into a new, improved emulation to work alongside Windows 95 on the Mac OS platform. This new technology is to be know as SoftPornWindows, a combination of Performa, Windows 95 and SoftWindows. Features will include: automatic registering via Universe Online, the new global internet system, total removal of keyboard technology, replacing it with voice recognition based on Atari ST digital sound technology, 100% virtual memory based operating system, eliminating the dependence on imported RAM, NTSC plug and play compatibility, removing the expensive computer monitor from the loop, total compatibility with all foreign platforms via a common interface based on ASCII/MIDI standards, infinite scrollable windows to allow virtual windows all worlds, proprietary color printing technology that brings together Apple's Quickdraw GX and Video for Windows to give true NTSC quality in printing.

Other developments will be released as the come available.

Expected ship date for Macintosh and PC compatibles is not announced, but the cartridge-based version is now shipping for Nintendo Game Boy and Sega Game Gear systems.
